Question 1: Do you think markets are more suitable places for selling certain types of things? Which ones? Why do you think this is?

Answer 1: I think it's suitable to sell something unique like things people cannot find elsewhere, because in this way markets can set themselves apart from shops and malls. Anyone can sell anything in a market. Old tapes and CDs are od examples. Many music lovers are crazy about old CDs released by their favourite singers but they cannot find those CDs in other shops.

 

 

 

Question 2: Do you think young people feel the same about shopping at markets as older people? Why is that?

Answer 2: No. I don't think they hold the same attitude towards markets. For most elder people, they don't trust markets. Anyone can sell things in a market and the quality of the ods cannot be guaranteed. If a seller deceives you, overcharging you for a fake piece of jewelry and telling you it's a genuine ,it's very difficult for you to get your money back when you find out the truth, This is the exact scenario that the elderly are afraid of. Young people, on the other hand, are more open-minded about free markets and they are willing take the risk of being fooled.
